Maricopa County Department of Finance (AZ)
Maricopa County Department of Finance (AZ)
The fastest growing county in the U.S. and the largest in Arizona, Maricopa County is home to more than 4 million people in the greater Phoenix area. Building on a successful Clerk of Courts solution, the Department of Finance replaced paper-based processes with OnBase to manage the invoice approval process and meet tightening government accountability and compliance requirements. In addition to increased efficiency, the Department of Finance eliminated 2,000 square feet of space devoted to document storage, which would have cost an estimated $500,000 or more over the next five years. Offsite storage is also being phased out, which will eliminate an additional $10,000 in annual costs.
