Automate curriculum review to save time, trouble

Franklin University was featured in The Successful Registrar for streamlining the curriculum review process with OnBase.

Formerly an error-prone and paper-centric process, Franklin is using OnBase to streamline curriculum review. Franklin now receives curriculum approvals electronically, making it much easier for the Faculty, Accreditation Office, Dean, Provost, Registrar and Curriculum Review Committee to approve or deny course and program proposals.

“This software solves so many issues. The curriculum change, review and approval process will now be faster, easier and more efficient,” said Tom Hrubec, Franklin University’s program chair of accounting, forensic accounting and business forensics. He also is a member of the Curriculum Review Committee.

“And now we have all documentation easily accessible to all stakeholders at any time. And the bonus here is the interface is so easy and intuitive. No need for extensive training to learn how to use it,” Hrubec added.
