Hyland, creator of OnBase joins PCI Security Standards Council

Hyland, creator of OnBase is now a participating member of the PCI Compliance Security Standards Council. The council’s goal is to improve payment card account data security worldwide, while embracing new technologies to help reduce fraud.

Empowering customer trust

As leaders in the enterprise content management (ECM) industry, Hyland employees are dedicated to helping organisations optimise processes and proactively protect their customers’ and members’ documents and information. Those of us involved in the council are excited to be a part of efforts to mitigate data breaches and prevent cardholder data fraud – after all, it affects each and every one of us.

Protecting sensitive information is crucial – it enables your customers and members to trust your organisation. That’s why helping to craft evolving industry-wide standards is important. We look at them as an important way to supplement the technologies that forward-thinking organisations are constantly enhancing to ensure data security.

As the council says, it’s all about:

  • Prevention
  • Detection
  • Appropriate reactions
