Ed McQuiston was promoted to senior vice president of global sales & marketing at Hyland, creator of OnBase in March 2016. Having served as vice president of global sales since 2012, Ed took on responsibility for marketing to align the two functions in support of Hyland’s global expansion. Ed’s tenure at Hyland and extensive knowledge of OnBase helps support and expand Hyland’s strategic initiatives.
With more than 20 years of experience in the information management and advanced capture industries, Ed focuses on collaborating Hyland’s global sales and marketing programs and vertical-specific initiatives with worldwide trends, positioning Hyland as the go to vendor for information management solutions.
Ed first joined Hyland in 2001 as the director of healthcare solutions. In his six years in that position, he built the practice into the largest vertical market at Hyland. Ed returned to Hyland in 2011 to lead the strategic alliance team, thoughtfully guiding Hyland’s relationships with key partners including HP, Microsoft and Lawson (now Infor). In 2012, he took on the additional responsibility of leading Hyland’s insurance sales team, growing revenue in that vertical by more than 20 percent.
Prior to rejoining Hyland in 2011, Ed was the vice president of sales for OnBase reseller KeyMark Inc., where he was responsible for leading his sales team to achieve the largest increase in new customer acquisitions in a single year.
Ed has held positions at every level in the enterprise content management, capture and information management industries as a trainer, installer, presales engineer, channel account manager and vertical industry leader, which have built his knowledge and understanding of organizations’ need to embrace today’s digital workplace.
