KM World covers how Spokane Teacher’s Credit Union (STCU) evolved its OnBase solution over the last 15 years. Sheri Deist, manager of information management at STCU, discusses how the credit union originally implemented OnBase to streamline COLD reports from the optical drives to OnBase. As business grew, executives knew that expanding OnBase to other departments would transform processes throughout the credit union to bring additional efficiencies for day-to-day business. STCU expanded the solution, increasing their usage of ECM in many areas including digitizing signature cards and the home equity loan processes. Prior to OnBase, employees sent all regulatory disclosures and loan documentation through paper-driven processes. Transitioning to a digital workflow provided immediate visibility and decreased paper consumption by 90 percent.
