Rob Lipowski, director of IT at the Cleveland Clinic, discusses the Clinic's mobile strategy with Healthcare Informatics. Rob shares how the patient admissions process is moving toward becoming paperless using the OnBase Mobile eCapture solution.
The Cleveland Clinic will create a paperless patient check-in process using OnBase Mobile. The goal is to operate more efficiently while feeding an analytics engine for the purpose of better quality outcomes. With more than 4,000 form types, the Cleveland Clinic will use OnBase to capture the information, make it available within Epic and share it with an analytics engine. The new mobile solution is expected to launch at the end of 2014 or early 2015.
