Maternal fetal medicine and OBGYN departments are under enormous pressure to provide the best possible care in the most efficient and cost effective way possible. But without a way to unite all of your data, images and content, your highly-skilled clinicians are spending their valuable time searching for patient information, which is neither cost-effective nor very efficient.

The OnBase R4 MFM and OBGYN Ultrasound Reporting System from Hyland Software captures connects and stores patient information in a centralized secure data repository that provides physicians and clinical staff with important patient information right when they need it, minimizing staff frustration and improving patient flow.

R4 provides a quality user experience with highly visible clutter-free screens that work with touch-screen technology and offers physicians the option of reviewing reports in a multi-screen setup for side-by-side image comparison and 3d and/or 4d post-processing. Ultrasound sonograms, exam data, video clips and volumes unite in R4 with clinical information, so that accurate real-time reports may be generated before patients leave the exam room.

The ability to embed images and graphs in the ultrasound report helps create a complete patient picture. With the ability to customize processes and reporting, R4 can send those reports electronically or by Auto fax to referring physicians and hospitals, saving time and allowing for more collaborative care among physicians, practices and facilities.

Both R4 and the core OnBase enterprise content management suite of healthcare solutions are meaningful use certified and AHA endorsed. This ensures your system operates under the strictest guidelines currently available, that your organization works more effectively and that your clinicians stay focused on what's truly important – patient care.
